Shining Through the GriefWe have been so busy lately that one day turns into a week faster than I realize it. We’re on spring break next week so that’ll be good.

We had been planning on moving this month but that didn’t work out. So, now our home is half packed. I’m not sure whether I should unpack or wait and see what the Lord has in store for us. Maybe I was meant to pack but for a different home! ¬†We shall see.

March is the beginning of the market day events in our community. We did one last week at the Round Rock Market Days for Bubba’s Beez. We sold lip balm, hand balm and of course, honey. It was a great event. We were neighbors to Texas Gourmet Pasta and had a great time. It was chilly and windy all day long but we stayed warm as best we could by standing in the sunlight and hovering over the pasta water on the table next to us.

My book, Shining Through the Grief: Memoirs of Emma’s Mom, is now in a proof and in my hands. I never thought I would see the day that I would be holding it in my hands. It’s a book full of love and devotion – not from me, but from God. He and Emma are the reason for this book. I’m reviewing it this week. Hopefully it’ll be ready in time for Emma’s 2nd heaven day on March 11th. I miss her like crazy and reviewing this book takes me back to those painful days following her birth and death. Wow. God has moved in our lives so much since then that it’s amazing. He is an AMAZING God and every day I realize how much He loves us.

Johnny is as busy as ever with real estate. The Austin market is really picking up right now. Houses are flying off the market almost as soon as they’re listed. Home prices are up. It’s just pure craziness (but good craziness). If you’re thinking of selling and you’re in the Austin area, email Johnny. He can help!

Working with The Old Schoolhouse Magazine is such a blessing. I work with such loving, Christian men and women that it warms my heart. There are so many good people in this world and I work with many of them. Again … God is so good.

I’ll try to post more regularly. It’s just been nutty.

If you want to buy any lip balm, hand balm or honey – let me know! We typically have some in stock and on hand. The sales we make are going towards our mission trip to Oregon this summer. We have quite a ways to go to get the money together but God is so gracious and loving, He’ll provide. Email me if you want anything. Shipping is expensive for the honey as it’s so heavy, but the lip balms and hand balms are pretty cheap to mail. I have had nothing but rave review on these. We only use natural ingredients.
