I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again …

never give up

It’s been three months of studying, taking classes, studying more, and taking more classes and sample tests. But, last Friday I PASSED the state and national real estate exams.

I’m 43 years young.

I am starting a completely new journey in life.

And I’m so excited!

I’m very nervous, too. I’m leaving behind a career and small business in marketing and graphic design and will be working with my husband, forming and building a real estate team through Keller Williams Realty based out of Georgetown, Texas.

I’m super excited! I mean – I’ll be able to work alongside my husband, God willing earning more money, but more than that I’ll be able to HELP people realize their dreams – whether it’s downsizing, upsizing, going to the country, or coming to the city, buying land, trying to find that perfect homestead, or just selling to move in with family. Whatever the reason, I get to be part of the process that helps a family move forward with their lives. That is definitely something to be excited about.

Do you have a dream, a passion, something you want to do but aren’t sure how to do it…or even that you should do it? Never give up on that dream or passion. I don’t care how old (or young) you are, if it’s in you to do…then do it. Of course, if it’s illegal or immoral, don’t do that, but DO pursue your passion.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t end with this little sound bite – if you are buying or selling real estate in the Central Texas area, consider The John Duke Team. We are here to serve.
