fly paper isn't just for flies

We have a TON of flies already this year and it’s just now June 1st. For some reason our back porch attracts a gargantuan amount of flies. It may have something to do with the amount of sunshine our back porch receives during the day. One thing we do each year is invest in fly paper. Yes, it’s ugly, but it really works. We purchase a large roll of it that allows us to tear off sheets (it’s Catchmaster Giant Fly Trap). Every few days we change out the paper with fresh paper as it fills up quickly with flies.

The other day I was telling Johnny how many squash bush were on the winter squash plants. He is so brilliant it’s not even funny. He suggested wrapping a stick with the fly paper and standing out there and catching squash bugs with it! Brilliant! We go out a few times each day with our sticky sticks and remove the stink bugs one at a time. It only takes a few minutes but the results are definitely worth it. Now that we’re doing this daily we have seen a huge reduction in squash bugs. It’s been amazing! So, I learned that fly paper isn’t just for flies!

The next time you’re in your garden and you see squash bugs … make your own sticky stick with fly paper and kill some bugs!

By the way, I don’t get any money or profit from promoting this product. It just happens to work for us. After all, fly paper isn’t just for flies anymore!
